Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana has partnered with ITServe Alliance, one of the largest associations of IT companies in the United States, to generate 30,000 new jobs in tier-II and tier-III towns in the State. As part of the agreement, member companies of ITServe Alliance will also take up upskilling and reskilling to build a pool of industry-ready talent from the local communi-ties.
The MoU was signed here on Wednesday, in the presence of D Sridhar Babu, Telangana Minister for Information Technology, along with Jagadeesh Mosali, National President of ITServe Alli-ance; Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, IT department; Sai Krishna, Advisor to the IT Minister; and Sreekant Lanka, Chief Strategy Officer, ITEC Department. Raghu Chittimalla, Governing Board Member; Radha Alla, Advisory Director; Viswa Kandi, Startup Cube Chair; Sudhakar Peram, National President Board 2012, ITServe Alliance, were also present.
ITServe Alliance will work with its network of member companies for the establishment of IT and related industries in cities like Mahbubnagar, Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nizamabad, and other emerging towns. To further strengthen the collaboration, the Telangana Government has also agreed to allocate land in Hyderabad’s Financial District for the construction of office buildings to be occupied by ITServe member-companies.
“By bringing IT infrastructure and opportunities to tier-II and tier-III towns, we are not only cre-ating jobs but also empowering communities across the state. We are committed to ensuring that Hyderabad’s IT success is replicated in these towns. This will help reduce migration to cities like Hyderabad, which is expected to face space constraints going forward, and aid in decongesting the city. This partnership with ITServe Alliance takes us a step closer to realising this vision,” D Sridhar Babu said.
Through this partnership, the State will facilitate the development of necessary infrastructure, including office spaces and modern facilities, to attract ITServe member companies for business expansion.“This MoU represents an opportunity for ITServe member companies to expand their reach and contribute to the development of untapped talent in tier-II and tier-III towns. By bridging the gap between infrastructure and opportunity, we aim to create sustainable growth that benefits both businesses and local communities. We look forward to a long-term partnership with the Telangana Government,” Jagadeesh Mosali, said.
